EARTH-IN-360 is built by a small, cross-disciplinary team combining environmental economics, marine science, and immersive technology. Here's who's behind it.
Chiara is an Assistant Professor of Instruction at Northwestern, an LSE Fellow and the originator of the EARTH-IN-360 project. Her research explores how individuals process information and the factors shaping policy preferences, with a focus on drivers of pro-environmental and pro-social behaviour.
Vincent specialises in non-market valuation and experimental design, overseeing the stated preference methodology underpinning the study and ensuring the willingness-to-pay estimates meet standards required for policy submission. Vincent developed the immersive storytelling component of the project and gathered the initial footage used in the experiment.
Daniel works as a technical responsible in the space sector, with a background in earth simulation, machine learning and visualisation. He is responsible for the full technical stack development of this project ranging from the data collection API to website design, data processing, visualisation and server management.
Tom will also be helping with the in person data collection.
